Born in Macau,
raised in San Francisco,
working between New York + California
self taught artist + industrial designer William Lee
combines transformative design with
a multi-faceted approach.
The core of his work verges disciplines of art,
design, + science bringing new perspective + purpose to his creations.
A big part of his process comes from experimentation + discovery of new things.
His minimalist aesthetic is driven by a sense of the unexpected + balances between illusion
+ practicality. Blending elements of art, design, science, fashion, music, technology + culture,
his industrial design work in San Francisco + Silicon Valley range from global brands
as Samsung, Motorola, Nvidia, Intel, and Williams-Sonoma.
His independent work includes LEAN released last Summer, following new pieces in
Fall 2011 - Conform, Checker, Slice, Poser. Residing in New York, Lee’s creations
continue to evoke, expand, and evolve in his growth as an artist + designer.
