PROFILE
Born in Macau and raised in San Francisco, self taught artist and industrial designer William Lee
combines progressive thinking with a multi-faceted approach.
The core of his work verges disciplines of art and design bringing new perspective and purpose
to his creations. A big part of his process comes from experimentation and discovery of new things.
His minimalist aesthetic is driven by a sense of the unexpected + balances between illusion and practicality.
Blending elements of art, design, fashion, music, technology and culture, his industrial design work in San Francisco
and Silicon Valley range from global brands as Samsung, Motorola, Nvidia, Intel, and Williams-Sonoma.
His independent work includes LEAN released this Summer + new pieces in Fall 2011 - Conform, Checker, Slice, Poser.
Residing in New York, Lee’s creations continue to evoke, expand, and evolve in his growth as an artist + designer.
Find him involved in art direction, industrial+product design, graphics, branding, interiors, fashion, music + sculpture.
He is open to collaborations and welcomes project inquiries and commissions in all realms of art, design, and creativity.
